To meet solar panel manufacturers demands for a fast, clean, reliable and simple solution to frame mounting, tesa has introduced the 62508, 62510 and 62512 double sided foam tapes.
The tapes are built around a conformable PE-foam core with a low foam compression rate. The tape carrier is based on a closed-cell foam which allows for optimal usage in the bonding of irregular and uneven surfaces, compensation of different rates of thermal expansion of dissimilar materials, high shock resistance, dampening effect and high bond strength. With a thickness of 800m, the 62508s tensile strength is 9.5N/cm; while 62510 (1000m) and 62512 (1200m) offer a tensile strength of 11.5N/cm.
