Spelsberg exhibits its industrial enclosure range online at Industry Expo

The company has supported specifiers of industrial enclosures throughout the Covid-19 crisis by utilising digital techniques to present information to enable easier selection. Presenting at Industry Expo, Spelsberg will be able to reach over 10,000 visitors per week among the 250,000-plus who have attended the virtual exhibition this year alone. The design of Spelsberg’s digital exhibition stand is based on its real-life presentation at Frankfurt’s Light + Building 2018 show and will include many of the key elements.

Spelsberg, which offers ex stock availability of electrical enclosures with lead times often within 24 hours, will also present its customisation service at the online industry show. Achievable with any of its enclosures, the service includes bespoke CNC machining, engraving and terminal fitting, within 48 hours.

 

At Industry Expo, the enclosure manufacturer is presenting its range for concrete installation, including cast in place and pre-fabricated. The key benefit of Spelsberg’s IBT range is its fast and simple fitting to formwork before the concrete pour, which remains securely in 

place during the cure and enables quick and easy installation of electrical terminals and wiring.

 

AK Air enclosures will also be on display, showing how the design avoids the build-up of condensation for applications which demand dry conditions. While maintaining IP65 protection, condensate is transported out of the enclosure via the air exchanger.

 

Spelsberg is presenting its WKE range of fire-protection enclosures, which can withstand extreme heat for up to 90 minutes. The company has recently added to the range with the WKE Duo, which can be supplied with various sizes of terminal blocks and allows different sizes of core section cables, up to 16mm, to be terminated within the same enclosure.

 

Spelsberg’s GEOS range will also be on virtual display, the highly robust range for industrial and outdoor applications. The polycarbonate design protects electrical circuits from UV and adverse weather conditions and the Drain Protect seal system eliminates ingress of water. The design is extremely tough, achieving a very high IK09 impact resistance level with an aesthetically attractive design, with safe, rounded edges.

 

For quick, aesthetic protection for electrical applications, the TG range also joins Spelsberg’s line up. Featuring a recessed cover, the TG allows for flush installation of design foils and membrane keyboards, protecting up to IP67 with its strong polycarbonate construction.
