Tribo-polymers specialist igus has announced that all of its e-chain system sales engineers now hold a current ‘Site Visitor’ card for the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). The card is for people who frequently visit a construction site, but have no construction-specific skill.

“To ensure the health, safety and welfare of people entering their sites, most construction companies require site workers, including visitors, to carry a CSCS card,” explained Justin Leonard, director, igus. “For our customers, we can now go to their site whenever and wherever they need us to specify or inspect e-chain and cable systems quickly and safely.”

“igus is a firm supporter of the CSCS Scheme; for bouth our own and our customer’s peace of mind,” continued Leonard. “In addition, each member of our sales team receives regular coaching to ensure our competence on site and on-going commitment to our customers.”
