The new sound module of the modular signal tower series LU7 with a volume of 100db/1m and a 360° all-round sound can be heard even in a very loud production area. The new model LU7-USB comes with an USB interface and renders a separate power supply unnecessary.
The LED towers of the LU7 series are available in a column diameter of 70 millimetres and come with a practical modular design.
Up to 5 stackable LED modules in the colours red, yellow, green, blue and transparent/white can be combined with or without sound modules in any order. Coloured LED stroboscope modules are also available as an additional option for the LU7.
The new sound module is compatible with every LU7 model and is simply attached upon the original signal tower.
The new version LU7-USB offers 13 alarm frequences and 5 different alarm sounds. It comes with an USB cable, is supported by windows 7 and 8 and is also DLL-supported. The new model is ideal for applications where direct control with a PC is necessary, for example at call centers or POS systems. An example programme can be downloaded from the PATLITE website.
Ideally suited for equipment manufacturers
The modular signal towers are ideal for OEMs who wish to offer different, multi-level versions of their devices. The modular design of the LU7 offers the choice between different pedestal modules in the colours ivory, silver and black, for mounting of up to five standard or stroboscope LED modules. The modules are wired in red, yellow, green, blue and transparent/white by means of a terminal block. Colour coding makes it very easy to connect the modules: each terminal has the same colour as the corresponding LED glass dome. Thanks to the practical bayonet catch the colour modules can also be re-combined after installation. The terminals eliminate the need for re-wiring.
Standards-compliant and extremely robust
All components of the LU series modular system conform to CE, UL and C-UL requirements and feature protection class IP 65. They are dust-tight and hose-proof and therefore also suitable for use in rough industrial environments. The operating temperature for the DC version is -30 to +60°C and for AC models -25 to +60°C.
