Started in 1964 and originally called Swansea Industrial Components, the company supplied electrical assemblies into the White Goods and Gaming markets but as we continued to improve and diversify our manufacturing capabilities we were able to expand into new product applications and new sectors.
Today SIC are proud to serve over 450 customers across 24 sectors as diverse as Aerospace, Boilers, Automotive and Vending. This consistent expansion has allowed us to become the full manufacturing partner that we now are to our customers; with a 188,000 ft2 UK based manufacturing facility employing a workforce of over 150 people.
SIC remains a family owned business to this day and this has helped to maintain a very clear identity of what drives the company forward, the pursuit of manufacturing excellence.
