Permabond TA4611, for low surface energy plastics, expands our existing range of polyolefin bonders offering high strength and smaller gap fill capability for difficult to bond plastics such as polypropylene and polyethylene, with no primer or surface treatment required. It can also be used to bond a wide variety of other materials such as metals and composite materials, making it ideal for bonding dissimilar surfaces and all the adhesives in this range offer good impact strength and chemical resistance. TA4605 and TA4610 offer larger gap fill capability and varying cure speeds. -
Permabond TA4207 is a multi-purpose, high strength adhesive. It is a 2-part, 1:1 mix ratio product, which achieves high strength bonds on metals, plastics and composites including carbon fibre and FRP/GRP, with little or no surface preparation! Substrate failure can even be achieved on PET-G, with minimal acetone/IPA degrease. It performs outstandingly well on metals, cutting through oxide layers to form incredibly strong bonds with the parent material beneath. Impressive shear strengths are even achieved on oily steel! Adhesives offer an effective way of joining composites, maintaining the structural integrity and performance of your composite, whilst providing a high-strength, high performance bond and an aesthetically pleasing appearance. In addition to our new toughened acrylics mentioned above, Permabond offers an established range of adhesives for composites, including products which are colour matched for carbon fibre and FRP/GRP. Our black 2-part epoxies (ET5428 & ET5429) and polyurethanes (PT326 & PT328) are a popular choice for high strength bonding of carbon fibre and we also offer flexible epoxy hybrids, flame retardant epoxies, spreadable epoxies and light weight edge fillers for honeycomb panels. Our adhesives are available in a range of cure speeds, strengths and viscosities to suit your particular application. Permabond offers the flexibility of custom formulation (subject to minimum order quantities) if a solution can’t be found in our existing range.
