International AC drive manufacturer Vacon has introduced three new products at its Drives Conference: the VACON 100, VACON 100 X and VACON 20 X.
The 100, considered to be the company’s flagship AC drive, offers a fully graphical multilingual display and an extended built-in block programming for drive customization. It is especially suited to applications such as pumps, compressors, fans and conveyors.
To enable system integration, the drive features Safe Torque Off function, on-board Ethernet-based communication protocols such as EtherNet/IP, PROFINET IO and Modbus TCP as well as ATEX-certified motor over-temperature protection.
The 100 X and 20 X are part of the manufacturer’s new range of decentralized AC drives for situations where space comes at a premium as they require no additional enclosures. With IP66/Type 4X enclosures, the drives are also suitable for harsh conditions
