A new range of valve islands has been introduced by Camozzi Pneumatics. The Series F is said to be easily configurable, cost effective, lightweight and compact.
Each valve island module has a 25 pin multipole electrical connection enabling from two to 24 valves to be mounted together. A complete range of valve functions are available initially with body widths of 12 and 14mm, which facilitate flow rates of 250Nl/min and 500Nl/min respectively. Higher flow rates will be possible with the planned introduction of additional valve sizes. A proven low watt (0.6W) pilot valve helps to minimise the power consumption of each valve island. Furthermore, each valve island can accommodate both positive and negative pressure zones.
The design of Series F also enables assembly and testing activities to be carried out locally.
