Introducing the mk aluminium profile range which forms the basis of all of the mk Profile Systems products.  The profiles are available in 4 size ranges; 25 series, 40 series, 50 series and 60 series.  Not only can mk’s aluminium profile be as strong as steel beams, they also offer a more attractive design.

Fields of use for the mk Series 25 are exhibition stand construction, electrical engineering and equipment construction. Very lightweight frames, show cases and display cabinets as well as intricate test set-ups, measurement and testing devices, switch cabinets and electronic housings can be easily constructed.

The mk 40 Series contains the widest range of products in our profile series. It forms the basis for lightweight machine frames, protective devices, workplace equipment and the mk GTP program (railings, stairs, platforms).

The construction profiles in the mk 50 Series are ideal for high static loads in mechanical engineering. Their optimum use is for heavy-duty machine frames or other load-bearing structures.

The mk 60 Series has been specially designed for applications that up to now have been reserved for conventional structural steel engineering. The full load-bearing capacity of the profiles can be exploited thanks to the use of connection technology based on M12 screwed connections.

mk’s aluminium profile range offers an altogether more aesthetically pleasing product combining stability and functionality with a modern look.

There are endless applications using mk’s Profile Technology from machine guards, frames, workbenches and so on.  The profile is part of a modular system that can be easily incorporated with mk’s conveyor and linear motion product range, therefore expanding the range of applications for which mk can provide the perfect solution.

The application shown here makes use of the cleanroom version of mk’s 40 series profile with encapsulated nuts when providing a safety enclosure for the cosmetic industry. In order to have an unobstructed view of the packaging station, scratch-resistant Makrolon, a polycarbonate product, was used as panel material.  In addition, stainless steel adjustable bases have been used.  They are ideal for applications which must be compliant with hygiene regulations.

The machine further utilises mk’s product range by incorporating belt conveyors and roller conveyors; 2 of the conveyors from the extensive mk range.
