Ace Controls International’s Magnum 45M-LT (Low Temp) Series industrial shock absorbers will continue to decelerate loads, prevent impact damage, reduce noise and improve product performance at temperatures as cold as -50°C.
Available as either adjustable or self-adjusting versions, these have an external thread of M45 x 1.5 and can absorb energy in the range of 340 Nm to 1,170 Nm.
Applications will range from the defence market where equipment is often expected to work at extremes of temperature – including vehicles, rocket launchers, etc. Other applications include refrigeration handling plants, and the oil and gas market in locations such as the Arctic.
