New from Eaton is the XV102 touch screen HMI/PLC. Featuring an integrated SmartWire-DT master, these compact yet high performance products have a 400 MHz RISC processor and a 128 MB onboard memory, expandable with an SD memory card.
SmartWire-DT is a comprehensive connection and communication technology system that replaces the control wiring in all components, from circuit-breakers, motor starters and frequency inverters to pilot devices and sensors. The line can be configured simply via CoDeSys and the technical data of the SmartWire-DT interface is the same as that of the previous SmartWire-DT gateways. This interface connects all the way into the PLC without the use of an intermediate circuit.
There are five HMI/PLCs available, all of which have clear, bright screens and can handle demanding PLC applications.
