Donghua Limited, the UK distribution arm for one of the world’s largest chain manufacturers, is exhibiting for the first time at the Drives & Controls Show at the NEC on 17-19 April 2012. The company will be on Stand E4 as part of the EPTDA Pavilion in Hall 3.
Donghua Limited is a subsidiary of Hangzhou Donghua Chain Group of Companies, which is one of the world’s biggest chain manufacturers producing in excess of 30 million metres of finished chain per year. Donghua produces a range of high quality chain including attachment chain, bespoke chain, conveyor chain, heavy duty super power chain, leaf chain and roller chain used across industrial, agricultural and specialist applications.

Members of the Donghua team will be present during the Drives & Controls show to talk to both designers and OEMs and, as the company doesn’t sell to end-users, will be representing their growing UK network of Product Partners and Dealers which includes some of the leading chain distributors in the UK.
Technical engineers from Cromwell Group Limited will be supporting Donghua at the show following the announcement in February that they have become a National Strategic Partner and will sell Donghua chain through their 50 trade counters. Cromwell Group Limited is one of Europe’s leading independent suppliers of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products.
Donghua is announcing another first at the Drives & Controls show – the launch of their new UK Attachment Chain Production facilities at their headquarters in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. These new facilities will enable Donghua to directly fulfil UK attachment chain requirements which are primarily used by the packaging machinery and food processing sectors.
Donghua already stocks common builds of attachment chain, but have developed the workshop so they can produce bespoke attachment chains to order, and by using in-house jigs and tooling Donghua will have the capability to produce special attachments.
Donghua produces standard attachment chain with K1, K2, M1, M2 and extended pin attachments in European/British Standards (from 05B to 32B) and ANSI (from 35 to 100) and extended pitch chain in European/British Standards (from 208B to 220B and from ANSI 2040 to 2080) in a variety of finishes including nickel-plated, stainless steel, Dacromet and self-lube.
As no other UK based supplier carries the full range of attachment chain, especially in both British and American standards, Donghua is filling a real gap in the market.
