New from HellermannTyton are the XS and XP enclosure ranges. The XS enclosures are available in mild steel and stainless steel, in wall mounted and floor standing versions, with bespoke models and special sizes available if required. The XS1000 mild steel enclosures are rated at IP66, making them suitable for most applications.
The XP range includes GRP wall mounted units and floor standing enclosures in sizes up to 1500 x 1500mm double door. Plastic junction boxes and noryl din cases complete the range. These can be customised if needed.
The XP’s reinforced polyester Polyamide 66 thermoplastic enclosures offer an IP rating of 65, while the wall mounted glass fibre polyester enclosures are rated IP66 and are particularly suitable for mounting electrical or electronic equipment in aggressive environments, states the company.
All non-metallic enclosures are manufactured from self-extinguishing material and can operate in temperature ranges between -20°C and 120°C.
