Nabtesco has given special attention to high efficiency in the development of its new trochoidal gears. The RV gears currently achieve an efficiency rating of 85%, which enables the construction of energy-efficient and high-torque machines. The gears are also eco-friendly.
The high gear reduction ratio and the high rated torque make it possible to use the trochoidal gears in applications which, for example, previously required the use of hydraulic systems. The gear heads are supplied ready to install and already filled with grease.
The company also has new developments that promote renewable energy sources, such as special high-efficiency gears for wind power nacelles and their rotor blade adjustments.
