Product Innovation Congress, BLOODHOUND SSC, Altair and GrabCAD challenge you to design a steering wheel for the supersonic car.
The prize includes $1,000 cash, a free pass to the Product Innovation (PI) Congress, a copy of the 3D conceptual design software ‘solidThinking Inspire’ provided by the PI 2013 sponsor Altair, GrabCAD T-shirt and coffee mug.
“This is one of the most exciting challenges we have yet!,” says GrabCAD`s Sales Director, Lauri Poldre. “This time, it is up to the GrabCAD Community to create a steering column and wheel for the BLOODHOUND Supersonic Car. Your design will be the sole connection of control between the driver, World-record holder and RAF Wing Commander Andy Green and a shuddering car rocketing across the desert at Mach 1.4!”
The deadline is January 31 2013.
