BOGE Compressors has increased its UK stock of compressors and extended its hire services to help industrial companies as they return to work and need to restart production systems.  Existing compressors that have been shut-down or used intermittently during the Corona-19 pandemic may prove difficult to start or suffer from un-expected mechanical failures; compressor hire provides an immediate solution to the problem while the problem is fixed.

BOGE now has a full range of industrial compressors available for immediate hire.  These are held in stock at the company’s UK headquarters in Huddersfield and include oil lubricated and oil free screw compressors.

General manager, Mark Whitmore, explains that, “We launched our industrial compressor hire service a couple of years and it’s always been a popular option with customers that have short term requirements for replacement machines or additional production capacity.  The lockdown that’s affected a wide range of companies has meant that many machines have been switched off or left running below their normal capacity.  Bringing them back on-stream, especially if correct procedures are not followed, can create problems both mechanically and with electronic controls.  Our hire service helps customers overcome these short-term issues.”

As part of its service, BOGE offers free telephone advice to customers with any type of compressed air system that suffer from problems when restarting.  The company also provides urgent on-site compressor maintenance to get machines back in operation quickly and safely.
