New from Variohm EuroSensor is the compact CANopen SMC series of pressure transducers.
The CANopen protocol ensures industry standard commissioning with interfacing to CAN 2.0A or optionally CAN 2.0B, and the 1Mbit/s data rate ensures fast update pressure measurement.
Designed for high accuracy measurement up to 2000 bar, these come in a robust IP67 rated stainless steel design based on the 22mm hexagonal industry standard. They come in over twenty standard measurement ranges with overload and burst pressure ratings that ensure maximum safety. With a media temperature range from -40°C to +125°C and temperature coefficient compensation between -20 and +85°C, the overall measurement accuracy is within 0.05% and repeatability better than 0.1%. Additional features include a shock rating of 1000g and vibration to 20g.
Suitable applications are for gas and liquid pressure measurement for hydraulics and pneumatics as well as general industrial uses in environmental engineering, agriculture, automotive, process control, etc.
