Over the last two years, Bülte’s activity has been very positive, with many projects under development, new products and the launch of part of its 3D product catalogue online. In fact, the company specializing in plastic and plastometallic protective and fastening parts is still focused on improving engineering efficiency and the digital experience of its customers with instant 3D downloads. The company has recently put online a brand-new 3D product catalogue. Thanks to instant downloads of 3D models from its site, Bülte improves the experience and efficiency of its customers by enabling them to speed up their design process. The new catalogue already offers 3D models of washers, screws, bushes, spacers, and nuts. It has been designed to be able to work directly with Bülte customers’ design offices, so that the references could really be used right from the product design phases. It allows engineers to quickly and easily navigate through the Bülte catalogue to find and download the free 3D model they need, in more than 100 software formats and versions. This new 3D catalogue will allow Bülte to be in direct contact with its end customers. The 3D Bülte catalogue is also in line with the company’s desire to support its customers with a personalised service. The 3D models of each product can be downloaded on the fly and are available for self-service.
Like any company, the Covid-19 crisis has somewhat slowed Bülte’s momentum towards 2020. In France, the site was partly closed during 3 months with sales teams working from home and shipping goods at a slower pace. Even if the activity was reduced by 40%, nothing ever totally stopped, production continued as well as the delivery of goods to our customers. In our German branch, everyone came to work in turn, without the site having to be closed at all. Everyone was able to make efforts to apply the new hygiene rules and barrier gestures in force, such as wearing masks, regular disinfection of common premises and equipment, the distance to be respected between each person, the introduction of traffic flows in the buildings, and so on… This crisis being global and worldwide, it has brought us closer to our customers, who have been very understanding since they have had to face the same difficulties and changes as we have. Our relationships have been changed for the better, they have become even more humane than before.
Of course, we are aware that the activity of the year 2020 will be less than in previous years, we will undoubtedly see a decrease in turnover of around 15%, but we adapt to the market and its requirements, as usual. The search for innovation is at the heart of the company, which is constantly developing new state-of-the-art products. Lately with the launching of our new “Bülte locking and sealing washers Plastomet” or a new range of flexible and protective caps. And very soon, the launch of a brand-new range of fasteners, in a material that we have never used before. We will keep you informed when the time comes… .
